Robert Woodbury


Robert Woodbury studied at Red Deer College in 1984 and the University of Alberta in 1986. He then blended technical and artistic skills in computer graphic programming for the Cross Cancer Institute. In 2005 a fellow sculptor, Delayne Corbett, suggested joining him to compete in the National Snow Sculpture Competition in Quebec City.   Since then Robert has focused on creating sculptures in ice, snow, Fiberglas, concrete and wood. He has built a Prusa i3 and Rostock Max 3D printers and is using them in his work as a makeup prosthesis and special effects teacher. Robert is also a past President of the SAA and is currently its Vice President.
