I was visiting a friend who had just returned from competing in China in 1992. We weregoing through pictures and when we came across the snow sculptures, I was totally amazed.

I asked my friend to come to St. Isidore to show us how to carve snow sculpture and since then, I have never looked back. I’ve been to several provinces (mostly Québec) to compete in snow carving competitions, and a few of those times were with SAA members Larry Andreoff and Delaynne Corbette… two great sculptors.

I basically only sculpt snow because I don’t have to sell it and if you are going to, make sure you get paid before, haha!
