I’m drawing from a lifetime of experience in the construction industry building from the ground up on houses and condo projects. I have always had an interest in beautiful artwork and purchased my brothers first oil painting in my 20s and working as an art gallery director for a few years. Until early in 2023 I had not even considered art or anything related to it as part of my skillset.

For the sculptures and carvings, I draw from my life experiences and my passion for nature’s beauty and quality. I feel like I can see life in the grains, knots and shades of the wood and I try to help it find its way out, into a new creation.

My medium of choice so far is Western Red Cedar.

I have found that allowing my creativity to come out with this carving, has been very therapeudic and has also helped me realize that I have a passion for photography which is something else I truly enjoy.
